A restorative circle is a great thing to do in any milieu where you are working with children and youth. When working with youth in a restorative circle the approach may be different than if I were working with younger kids. When in a therapeutic environment it is important to create a space of social inclusion, a restorative circle creates this social inclusion and saftey by allowing young people to speak their minds and be authentic when expressing themselves to eachother. We must encourage young people to express how they feel about eachother and circumstances within the environment and atmosphere.
